Partnership is our word for “membership.” We believe that it best reflects the relationship between an individual and their church community.
Partnership at Lakeside means that you have a say in the selection of leaders, who in turn will make wise, prayer-based decisions on the direction and operations of the church community.
Partnership is about commitment in a culture that struggles with commitment.
Partnership is important to God.
Partnership is about us knowing who we can count on.
Every team needs a roster – every school an enrolment – every country a census – and every church community needs a group of core people when it comes to commitment. To serve in some of the ministries at Lakeside will require you to be a partner so that there is an accountability relationship.
To become a partner at Lakeside:
- Complete the online course, Discovering Lakeside. You can complete the course at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home. To begin the course, please click here.
- Following successful completion of Discovering Lakeside, you and others who have completed the course will be invited to a meet and greet session with the Lakeside Elders team where you can ask any questions you may have about the church.
- Following the meet and greet, you will have a brief telephone interview with a member of the Lakeside Elders team.
- You will be welcomed as a new partner during a regular weekend service along with other new partners.
