Lakeside Rentals

Our spacious facility by Guelph Lake is the perfect location for meetings, weddings, fundraisers, showers, parties, and more. Our facility sits on a beautiful 95-acre rural property on the outskirts of Guelph. We have multiple rooms inside the building and plenty of outdoor space.

We’d love the opportunity to work with you and help you choose the ideal space for your event.

Our two most common rentals can be found below followed by individual options by room.

Weddings

$1,000 (NO RECEPTION)

Please note that alcohol is not permitted in any form on church property. This fee includes:

  • Chapel venue for two days (decorating/rehearsal and ceremony)
  • Sound tech at rehearsal and ceremony
  • Cleaning fee
  • Security personnel at wedding
  • Officiant fees are extra

Funerals

$750 (NO RECEPTION) / $1,000 (WITH RECEPTION)

An extra charge of $250/day will be added if also requesting visitation at Lakeside.

  • If needed, live-streaming is an additional fee of $75/hour

Auditorium

A large theatre-style (fully accessible) venue with seating for 900 people. Saturday evening rental requests will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Cost: $2,000

Gymnasium

A large gym space with natural light. Seats 80 at tables or theatre-style. Not suitable for sports activities other than pickleball (we can accommodate two courts). Note: there is no AV/sound equipment in this room.

Cost: $400

Chapel

A smaller version of our auditorium, ideal for weddings, performances, and other events. Seats 200 theatre style. Tables are not an option.

Cost: $500

Soul Station

A large, open room, ideal for meetings, conferences, and other events. Seats 70 theatre-style or at tables.

Cost: $500

Cafe

A bright cafe space ideal for casual meetings. Located next to the kitchen. A mixture of tables and chair and comfortable lounge areas.

Cost: $500

Youth Zone

A casual, rustic space ideal for meetings, workshops, and more. Seats 30 at tables or theatre style. Not available Wednesday evenings.

Large Classroom (B118)

*Limited Rental Times* A fun, kid-themed space that’s ideal for small meetings and workshops as well as birthday parties and playgroups. Seats 50 theatre style. No option for tables.

Cost: $300

Small Classroom (B113)

*Limited Rental Times* Two small classrooms (B113 & B115) are almost identical, and ideal for meetings and other small events. Seats 15-18 at tables, or 25 theatre style.

Cost: $175

Small Classroom (B115)

Two small classrooms (B113 & B115) are almost identical, and ideal for meetings and other small events. Seats 15-18 at tables, or 25 theatre style.

Atrium

This is a main foyer and thoroughfare but can be rented as a venue and set up to match your vision (some restrictions apply). Photo shows a small wedding.

Cost: $500

Barn Area

Private outdoor area is perfect for an outdoor wedding, get-together or reunion. Barn building not available. No burning candles or washroom facilities.

Cost: $400

Meeting Room 2

Can seat 8-10 at tables at one of the room with couches at the other. Can accommodate approximately 20 people in total.

Cost: $350

Important Details

  • Please note that consumption of alcohol is not permitted on the property (this includes the parking lot and barn area).
  • Linens and all consumable items (paper plates, cups, napkins, cream, sugar, condiments etc.), are to be provided by the renter.
  • Due to staff capacity, we are not able to accommodate groups of more than 200 people for events on weekdays (Monday – Friday).
  • Lakeside is not able to accommodate rentals that extend past 9pm on Saturday evening. (Some exceptions may apply).
  • Room rates are per day – Janitorial, Technical, Parking and Staff Monitor fees are extra. Half day rates may apply.

Extra Charges

  • An automatic $200 cleaning fee is applied to each rental for events with less than 500 people.
  • An automatic $250 cleaning fee is applied to each rental for events with more than 500 people.
  • For events over 500 people, parking personnel will be required at a rate of $30/hour per parking person.
  • If a technician is required for sound, lighting, camera etc., there will be a fee of $30 per technician per hour.
  • A $75/hour charge applies for any events that require live-streaming.
  • If your event takes place outside of regular Lakeside office hours, Monday-Friday, a fee of $30/hour will be applied for security personnel.
