The Griefwalk Assistant offers first level support to the Griefwalk team (staff and volunteers). This person will also be a key member of the Golf for Griefwalk committee, our major annual fundraiser.
Responsibilities:
- Support Griefwalk in first level response by answering phones and general administration (photocopy packages, training binders etc)
- Support our Golf for Griefwalk fundraiser (phone calls, follow-ups, photocopying, communications etc), reporting to the tournament chair
- Support and help coordinate our in-person support groups
Qualifications:
- Loves Jesus, loves people, and is passionate about helping people in grief
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Empathetic, compassionate, understanding
- Proven administrative experience
- Above average computer skills
- Strong work ethic, ability to complete tasks as needed
Reports To: Griefwalk Program Coordinator
This is a part-time, contract position, working approximately 8 hours/week from January – October. Hours are flexible.
Compensation: $16.55/hour

The Technical Director oversees all technical responsibilities at Lakeside in relation to our Sunday morning gathering, providing direction and leadership to our tech team, and ensuring our weekly gathering follows Lakeside’s vision of helping people discover and fully follow Jesus.
Responsibilities:
- Rehearsal sound check and run-through, both on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings
- Live stream management via Resi
- XIBO slides management
- ProPresenter management
- Podcast management (upload post Sunday service)
- Establish and maintain serving schedules, recruit, and train new volunteers
- Build and lead the volunteer weekend tech team
- Run lead tech on all special services ie: Christmas, Easter etc
- Baptism tank preparation
- Manage supplies and advise on purchases related to technical needs
- Events/rental coverage, when needed

Education/Experience:
- Knowledge of Mac and Windows platforms
- Knowledge of Audacy, ProPresenter, DaVinci Resolve, Premier Pro, Final Cut, Logic (audio software), HTML
- Multitracks (Rehearsal Mix and Playback)
- Formal training in production or related discipline an asset
- Hands-on experience with technology in a modern worship production environment an asset
- Skyjack certification an asset
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Technical Director will frequently be required to stand, sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
This is a part-time position (15-20 hours/week) requiring evening and weekend work. Sunday morning and Thursday night rehearsals are mandatory.
