Is your information up to date?
If you are the parent/guardian of a child in in our Lakeside Kids program, would you please take a moment to provide us with some information about your family as we head into a new ministry season? This will help us better care for and support your children, and will ensure we have up-to-date contact information on file. Thank you!
What to Expect
It starts at check-in. From the moment you arrive, we aim to make church a positive and fun experience for your kids (from birth to Grade 5). Our team will help you check-in using our secure computer system and then you can share in musical worship together in the auditorium. Kids will then be invited to the Lakeside Kids program.
If you’d like to stay with your child, we also offer a family-friendly space for parents/caregivers to watch the service and tend to childcare needs.
Please arrive a few minutes early to check in (especially if this is your first time).
Are you new to Lakeside or do you have a new addition to your family? Let us know so we can make it easy for you to check your kids in to the program on Sunday morning.
Communion for Kids
Communion can be celebrated by anyone who follows Jesus, but we believe parents know best when their child is ready to participate. Click the button below for information about communion and kids.
MAKE A FAMILY PLAN
Meet the Lakeside Kids Team
I’m a firm believer that following Jesus means putting your own plans aside and listening to where God is leading. After 25+ years working with families in crisis, God clearly put me on a new path as the Children’s Pastor at Lakeside; I love sharing Jesus with kids. In my spare time, I love hanging out with my niece and nephew, gardening, and decorating.
I love kids and I love Jesus, so it was a no-brainer to marry the two. By day I’m an elementary school teacher but on Sunday mornings you’ll find me loving on the littles and teaching them more about Jesus. I’ve been involved with kids ministry for more than 20 years. I’ve been doing mission trips to Cuba for almost as long, sharing the love of Jesus with children there.
