Pastor of Spiritual Growth & Leadership Development

Overview:

The Pastor of Spiritual Growth and Leadership Development is a key member of the senior leadership team that drives forward the vision of the church – a community helping people discover and fully follow Jesus. This person champions spiritual growth and leadership development church-wide.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead age- and stage-appropriate strategies for spiritual growth, including giving leadership to Lakeside Small Groups.
  2. Help identify key leaders in the church and connect them with opportunities to lead.
  3. Lead the process of measuring progress against Lakeside’s five core values.
  4. Oversee Lakeside Kids Director and Lakeside Youth Pastor.
  5. Oversee all integration strategies at Lakeside Church (newcomers, baptism, partnership, prayer, next steps booth).
  6. Participate in pastoral care needs including weddings, funerals, child dedications, visitations.

Expectations:

  • You are a team player who identifies, equips, empowers, and encourages others.
  • You teach and cast vision well in small and large group settings, including Sunday morning teaching.
  • You have strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
  • You understand, and can lead a church-wide disciple-making strategy.
  • You are a person of mature Christian faith, and you have relevant ministry experience, preferably in a multi-site environment.

This is a full-time role. Salary commensurate with experience. Employee benefit plan available.
