Trevor Dick

I was born in Nigeria, Africa, to missionary parents, but my family returned to Canada after the sudden death of my father.

I started playing the violin at 7 years old, around the same time that I gave my life to Jesus. I went on to study music professionally and hold degrees in music and education from the University of Toronto.

I met my wife, Le-Anne at Lakeside and we were married in 1994. We have three sons: Kyle, Aaron and Liam who have all been actively involved in Lakeside’s Youth programs and in volunteering roles.

I also serve as Artistic Director of Flyingbow Music Ministry, a non-profit missionary organization I founded in 2010 for Canadian musicians and artists. As well, I run a small private and group string teaching practice in my home studio and at Gateway Public School. I enjoy serving regularly on the Lakeside Central Worship team and leading small groups with my wife.
