First Time

We’re glad you’re here!

Lakeside is a community helping people discover and fully follow Jesus. It’s a place where you can be yourself without fear of judgment or condemnation, and we hope you feel like this is a place you can belong.

  • Lakeside Central | 7654 Conservation Road, Guelph ON | 10:00 a.m.
  • Lakeside Downtown | 75 Norfolk Street, Guelph ON | 11:00 a.m.

We have Sunday morning gatherings at two locations – our main site (Lakeside Central) and our downtown site (Lakeside Downtown). At both locations, we’ve got music and a message, and coffee – of course!

At Lakeside Central, there is a main auditorium with theatre-style seating. There is also a cafe if you prefer to sit at a table, or you’re just not sure about this whole “church thing” yet. It’s a casual and comfortable way to check out what happens here on a Sunday morning.

For those who love downtown, use bus transportation, prefer a later service time, or just enjoy a smaller, intimate community atmosphere, you may want to check out Lakeside Downtown.

If you’re not sure you’re ready to meet us in person, that’s OK. We live stream the message from our main site every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

When you’re ready to stop by, we’ll be waiting!

Q. Where should I park?

A. If you’re coming to our main site, come in the second driveway (just past the sign). There will be friendly volunteers in brightly coloured vests waiting to help you park. If you need to drop someone off at the front door (it can be a bit of a walk to the main entrance) or you need to park in one of our special needs spots, just put on your left signal at the top of the laneway and and our parking volunteers will direct you!

If you’re planning to visit our downtown site, there is street parking along Cork Street and other downtown streets.

Q. What do I wear?

A. Our culture is casual but we invite you to dress however you are most comfortable.

Q. Is there a program for my kids?

A. We have a fun and engaging children’s program for kids up to Grade 5 at both locations, and we have a secure check-in process that ensures the safety of your little ones. You can register your children ahead of time by clicking here. Students in Grades 6-8 also have their own gathering at our main site on Sunday mornings in the Youth Lounge (located beside the Info Booth).

Q. Can I bring my coffee?

A. Absolutely! Bring your favourite coffee or grab one at our main site on your way in (or after the service). Coffee can be brought into the main auditorium, but to avoid spills, a lid is recommended. We proudly serve fair trade, organic coffee from Planet Bean at both locations.

At our downtown site, we start with coffee every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. before the gathering. It’s a great time to hang out, meet others, and get connected.
