- Reflect on a time when you forgave in a costly way and received forgiveness in return. And was there a time when you forgave and your forgiveness was rejected? How did that make you feel? How did it impact your conversation with God? How did it impact your confidence in Scripture?
- When Jesus’ teaching seems too difficult or too overwhelming, how might it help you to remember that this is how God loves you? This is how God acts towards you? How might that change your outlook?
